ADR
The wiper ring profile ADR is designed to prevent contamination ingress while the piston rod is moving. Thereby, it prevents the development of scratches at the running surface and extends the working life of the seals. This profile combines a dynamic used PTFE ring with a static O-ring as a pretension element. By its special design, with a sharp wiper edge and a seal lip at the fluid side, the PTFE ring takes over both wiper and seal function for leacking oil. Conditional on the production, this profile is available short-dated up to sizes of 3000 mm. No specific action e.g. ring nuts and retaining plates or special fits are necessary for the installation. Intermediate sizes or inch dimensions can be produced short-dated, if required.
APPLICATION RANGE
Designed for axially moved rods at hydraulic piston rods. Due to the excellent slide attributes of the dynamic used PTFE ring, it is suitable especially well for short strokes with high frequencies and high surface speeds. The low abrasion guarantees a long service life.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
The wiper ring profile ADR necessitates a divided fitting area at diameters < 40 mm. A closed fitting area can be used at larger diameters. A following calibration is recommended.
For special cases of application (high temperatures, speed, specific pressure, use in water, HFA-, HFB-fluids etc.) please get in contact with our consultancy service.
