General
The V2F profile is a face-sealing flange gasket for control units, valves and connecting plates. It is a further development of the O-ring for this application, which tends to leak in the event of pressure surges and fluctuations. The O-ring is also often pulled out of its open groove by the flowing medium. This effect is prevented with the V2F flange seal, as is radial movement and the associated wear. The sealing profile and material also allow high operating pressures of up to 50 MPa (500 bar), when designed in PUR.

Standard material: NBR with a hardness of 88 Shore A (alternatively available in FKM or HPU). With all materials, attention is paid to a good compression set.

Installation instructions
The V2F profile must not protrude into the oil-bearing through holes. The bore diameter d must be smaller than or equal to d of the seal. The rectangular back of the seal requires a tight fit, therefore the diameter D must correspond to the countersink D of the seal. There must be ventilation in the back of the V2F profile, which can be achieved if the plate has a roughness depth Rt of 20-30 µm on the face side of the countersink, e.g. by milling according to DIN 3142 B5-P4. If several through holes are fitted, additional ducts for ventilation can be provided between the individual oil-bearing holes. The gasket contact surfaces must have a peak-to-valley height of 6.3 µm. Other
This profile can also be supplied at short notice in PUR with a hardness of up to 95 Shore A.
Area of application
Preferably on valves in block design for sealing the oil-bearing through holes.
