B7P
The HPU cylinder seal profile B7P is a lip-seal with undersize on the inside dimension. Through this a tight fit of the static lip within the groove of the piston will be reached. This type of seal is used for high pressure hydraulics, if in case of the application parameters, fabric reinforced seals are not sufficient.

MATERIAL
PU008 is a wear resistant polyurethane compound with a hardness of approximately 93 Shore A. Compared to other standard Polyurethane qualities the special features of this material are: low compression set results, high thermal stability, good characteristics against hydrolysis.
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
To ensure a perfect function the B7P must have a certain play in axial direction (look at measure scale). So that the sealing lips won´t be damaged, don´t pull them over sharp edges. Normally the B7P will be mounted over closed pistons. In case of extreme width of profile and diameter measures, installing tools should be used. For easier installation it´s possible to choose a smaller shoulder on the pressure side of the piston. For further details ask for consultation (high of shoulder 1/3 cross section).
