C2P
The cylinder seal C2P was developed as a result of a request by the industry for a compact seal, with preferably small mounting sizes. For the purpose of creating a smooth-running, low pressure seal, which also finds its range of application in pneumatics. There for the C2P comes with an excellent seal effect and at the same time a low width- and heights of profile. The short contact surface on the dynamic sealing lip causes a low friction. Due to the design, back-up and holding rings within the groove are not necessary. During usage with pneumatics, oiled air will be required. For applications without oiled air, we suggest profile E4P, with rounded sealing lips.

The profile C2P is especially adequate as a cylinder seal, with pneumatic and hydraulic. Especially by choosing a seal for a certain diameter, select one with the largest cross section.

MATERIAL
Standard material is an elastomer-mixture with NBR, with a hardness of approximately 84 Shore A. Additional there is a selection of mixtures made of EPDM and FKM.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
The profile C2P is manufactured with undersize on the inside diameter, through this, installation on the piston and tight hold inside the ground of the groove, will be achieved. So the correct outside diameter, on the dynamic sealing lip will initially be achieved, after installation. For correct function, the groove width has to be larger than the seal width (look at the chart). The profile C2P can be installed on one piece pistons, without any difficulty. Don´t pull the sealing lips over sharp edges. With double function adjustment, avoid pressure peaks, which range above the indicated working pressure.
