DKP
The pneumatic complete-piston profile DKP is a compact piston, with a vulcanised metal disk embedded in NBR or Polyurethane, which serves as a back-up part. This profile combines two functions in itself: Sealing and guiding.
ADVANTAGES ARE
- easy to install on a piston rod using screw thread, washer and screw nut
- no additional sealing elements are necessary
- through symmetric assembly, wrong mounting is impossible
- immediate response, do to included ventilation channels (full pressure admission)
- corrosion is impossible, do to complete coating
- lubrication film retentive dimension of the sealing lip, for low friction and non shock operation
- suitable for maintained, as well as oil-free compressed air (after initial lubrication)
APPLICATION RANGE
For all double action pneumatic cylinders, with and without shock absorbing action (end position damping), if not too overcharged share forces occur.

MATERIAL
Standard elastomer on NBR basis, with a hardness of approximately 71 Shore A, with an embedded vulcanised metal disc, or from 100 mm up, with a hardness from approximately 78 Shore A. For version in Polyurethane material PU008 with approximately 93 shore A notice extra table. For highand low temperature applications, please ask for special compounds.
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
The complete piston DKP gets screwed together on a piston rod, using screw thread, washer and screw nut. A locking device against loosening of the screw fitting should be used. With application in oil free and dry air, the complete piston, as well as the cylinder have to be treated with an initial lubrication. Please use a suitable longterm lubrication. The sealing lips need enough moving space on the end impact (cylinder cover- and bottom) Look at display the measure "Ø dm".
