DPP
The pneumatic-complete piston, profile DPP is a double action compact piston with integrated end-position cushioning. With this profile an embedded metal disc was vulcanised, which serves as a back-up part. This profile combines three functions in itself: Sealing, guiding and cushioning.
ADVANTAGES ARE
- easy to install on a piston rod, using screw thread, washer and screw nut
- no additional sealing elements are necessary
- through symmetric assembly, no assembly errors are possible
- immediate response, do to included ventilation channels (full pressure admission)
- lubrication film retentive dimension on the sealing lip, for low friction and non shock operation
- suitable for maintained, as well as oil-free compressed air (after initial lubrication)
APPLICATION RANGE
For all double action pneumatic cylinders with shock absorbing action (end position damping), if not too over-charged share forces occur.

MATERIAL
Standard elastomer on NBR basis, with a hardness of approximately 71 Shore A , with an embedded vulcanised metal disk. For particular high or low temperatures, please ask for special compounds.
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
The complete piston DPP gets screwed together on a piston rod, using screw thread, washer and screw nut. A locking device against loosening of the screwfitting should be used. With application in oil-free and dry air, the complete piston, as well as the cylinder have to be treated with an initial lubrication. Please use a suitable long-term lubrication.
