The E2P cylinder seal is a lip seal equipped with an additional thermoplastic back-up ring. This profile is used for larger gaps in the back of the seal or for higher pressures. In addition, the support ring provides guidance for the seal.

- Sealing ring: NBR with a hardness of approx. 85 Shore A. Special materials are available for high or low temperature applications.

Installation instructions
This groove ring can be inserted very easily into closed grooves by expanding it. The support ring is slotted and therefore easy to fit. In special applications (high temperature, speed, specific pressure load or use in water, HFA, HFB fluids etc.) please contact our application engineering department.
Application area
The E2P profile is particularly suitable for cylinder seals where low friction and high tightness in the low pressure range is required. When specifying the piston seal for a particular diameter, the one with the largest cross-section should preferably be selected.
