The E6P cylinder seal can be used both as a hydraulic and pneumatic seal. The inner diameter is undersized so that the inner lip serves as a tight fit. This groove ring can be easily stretched for mounting on the piston.

Standard material: NBR with a hardness of approx. 85 Shore A, also available in FKM and EPDM at short notice.

Installation instructions
For a proper function of the piston seal it is necessary to make the groove width slightly larger than the ring width. Please note the values in the table: dimension H to dimension L. The seal lips must never be pulled over sharp edges. All information is based on decades of experience in sealing technology. Nevertheless, due to unknown factors in practical use, no guarantee can be given for these generally valid statements.
Area of application
Use in apparatus and equipment of all kinds, but as a pneumatic lip seal only in conjunction with serviced air.
