KRP
The piston seal set KRP is a double acting seal element consisting of
special polyurethane ring with distinct sealing edge for the dynamic sealing
(primary seal) and a rectangular ring as elastic pretension element
(secondary seal).
ADVANTAGES ARE

- low friction and no stick-slip even at low speeds
- can also be installed single acting
- very good wear resistance
- high resitance to extrusion
- fitting areas according to ISO 7425/1
- simple and small groove design, one-piece pistons possible
- simple snap mounting on a one-piece piston
- conforming to special conditions regarding temperature or medium by
the choosing of the particular compound
- fast sampling of not scheduled dimensions in turned construction is possible

working pressure: 30 MPa (300 bar)
operation temperature: – 35 to + 110 °C
surface speed: ≤ 0,5 m/s
media: Oil-based pressure fluids
Chiefly in light and medium-heavy standard cylinders in construction
machines, injection moulding machines, agricultural machines, lifting
platforms, leakage-critical applications such as steering cylinders.

pretension element: NBR elastomer with approx. 80 Shore A
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
To avoid damage to the sealing lip, the seals should not be drawn over
sharp edges during installation. The KRP is mountable on closed grooves.
The fitting areas are to be deburred and to be cleaned thorough. The cylinder
rods must own lead-in chamfers.
