M4S
The three-part piston sealing set M4S consists of a header ring, a chevron ring, both of them are made of a NBR compound with fabric lining, plus finally a back-up ring that is inlaid into the chevron ring. The latter can consist of a NBR composite or hard plastics. This profile is distinguished by its outstanding robustness. For particular requirements it also can be manufactured of the material combination FKM and EPDM with fabric lining.

The profile M4S is especially suitable as a piston seal in the mobile hydraulics, presses or building machines and wherever tough operating conditions are existent.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
To be mounted on a divisible piston. To avoid damage of the sealing edges, make sure that they are not pulled over sharp edges or threads. The piston should be designed is such a way that the sealing set can be mounted with the back firstly. In this way a small lead-in chamfer or a radius at the centerpiece of the piston suffices.
