NGS
The profile NGS is a two-pieced piston seal set, that consists of a frabric grooved ring and an elastomer back-up ring. Due to the little headroom, the seal set is chiefly used for the sealing of both-way impinged pistons.

ADVANTAGES ARE

- simply mountable in open fitting areas
- suitable for mineral oils, brake fluids, emulsions and synthetic media
- also usable as rod seal with elastomer back-up ring
- dimensions for cylinder diameters according to ISO 3320

Chiefly used for the sealing of both-way impinged hydraulic cylinders.
The dimensions are largely orientated on the installation guidelines of ISO 3320.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
The piston seal set profile NGS will be delivered with an elastic back-up ring. This back-up ring will be inserted loose as a closed NBR-ring or open (cut to size). We reserve it for ourselves to deliver a back-up ring made of synthetic material instead of the rubber ring. In special cases a round section seal can be mounted for the back-up ring. A divided piston is necessary for the installation. The fitting areas should conform to the set height to avoid swimming of the seal. A axial pretension, adjusted on the particular case of application, is permissible.
