PZP
The profile PZP is a elastomer cylinder seal that is designed for both-way impingable pistons in the pneumatics. On the strength of two very small seal edges and the lubrication reservoir fixed between, it is characterized by an extreme smooth run.

For using this seals, we recommend guiding elements (e.g. profile F2S). Chiefly used for the sealing of pistons in pneumatic cylinders and valves.
MATERIAL
Standard compound is a NBR-based elastomer with a hardness of approx. 71 Shore A. Special compounds are available for high resp. low temperature applications.
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
The profile PZP is mountable problem-free on one-piece pistons by pulling over. The seal should not be pulled over sharp edges during installation. Therefore, these edges at the piston and at the cylinder liner should be broken. To ensure working at dry run and a long working life, a closed lubrication film should be brought on in the cylinder liner before the mounting of the piston. When using the guiding band F2S, the outside diameter of the piston is to achieve exactly so that the gap sizes listed at the profile F2S arise.
