General
The cylinder seal Z0P is used in pistons that can be pressurised on both sides. The five-part seal set consists of an elastic profile seal ring and two back-up and angular guide rings each. The profile ring seals in the static and dynamic range, while the support rings prevent extrusion into the sealing gap. The angular rings guide the piston in the cylinder tube and transmit any transverse forces that occur.

Material
Standard materials:
- Profile sealing ring: highly wear-resistant NBR material NB578 with a hardness of 80 Shore A
- Backing rings: high-strength, wear-optimised polyester elastomer (WK035)
- Angle guide rings: thermoplastic for high compressive strength even at elevated temperatures (WK031)

Installation instructions
For installation of the seal it is necessary to remove sharp edges and burrs in the mounting area. The installation is carried out in the order of the individual elements, starting with one of the two outer angle guide rings. Make sure that the joints (gaps) of the angle guide rings and anti-extrusion rings are staggered. The concrete design of the set elements can vary according to the technical requirements.
