ZWP
The profile ZWP is a five-piece compact seal, that is designed for bothway impingable pistons. This piston seal is a double-acting seal and guide element, which consists of an elastic profile seal ring, two back-up rings and two angle guide rings. The profile ring seals in the static and dynamic range. The back-up rings prevent an extrusion into the gap and the angle rings in the cylinder liner transmit arising shear forces.

The values stated above keep their validity, if the processing messures incl. the tolerances will not exceed obvious under mechanical stress of the cylinders (bulging, oval shape). Range of appplication chiefly the sealing of pistons in the car hydraulics, in machine tools, pilot and support cylinders.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
The mounting takes place in order of the several elements, incipient with one of the angle guide rings. Thereby pay attention that the joints (gaps) of the angle guide and anti-extrusion rings are ordered shifted. Sharp edges and burrs in the mounting area has to be removed.
