C5R
The profile C5R was developed for rotary seals. Herewith, low-pressure channels on rotors can be sealed one sided. Although, using simple geometry, for a special shaped interior sealing lip, a good seal effect was achieved. The seal is designed for medium pressure ranges.

Often used with mobile- and machine tool-hydraulic, with low pressure swivel screw-fittings, as well as endseals, with rotary feed through, of construction equipment.
MATERIAL
Standard-elastomer, with a hardness of approximately 84 Shore A, made of NBR, FKM, EPDM.
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
To ensure a perfect seal function the groove width must be larger than the seal width (look at chart). The C5R is easy to install in closed grooves. So the seal won?t be damaged, don´t pull it over sharp edges. Edges within the seal housing have to be provided with radii (look at mounting layout).
