General
This proven rod seal kit seals against the moving surface with its long, elastic lips. It is mainly used when long strokes are made at low pressure and high speed and the maximum pressure only occurs in a relatively short working range. The shape of the sealing lip keeps the pressure force against the sliding metal parts low, so idle friction and frictional forces in the low pressure range are low. Due to the long, elastic sealing lips, a good wiping effect is achieved even if larger fitting clearances are necessary for design reasons. The number of sealing collars (1-3) can be adapted to the respective application.

Standard materials: NBR or FKM elastomers with and without hard fabric insert

Installation instructions
The L1R seal kit is supplied with plus tolerance in height. The installation space must therefore be adjustable accordingly in the axial direction. The seal set should be installed without or only with slight axial tightening.
