ONR
The rod seal set ONR is an double acting seal element consisting of a PTFE-ring for the dynamic sealing (primary seal) and an O-ring as elastic pretension element (secondary seal). In this combination the ONR meets the high requirements of sealings at piston rods in view of operational safety and environmental protection of hydraulic systems. The sealing set shows no dynamic leakage at any working conditions by professional using. It is static leakproof at standstill of the machines. By the installation of the ONR in association with a double wiper ring (AYR), the sealing set reaches its optimal sealing effect.

We recommend to use guiding elements (e.g. profile F3S) with this seal. Chiefly in control cylinders, mobile hydraulics, machine tools, servo hydraulics, automobile industry, fast closing cylinders.

PLEASE NOTE
For special applications it is recommendable to use a sealing cross section, reduced or stepped up, that differs from standard, In these cases replace the standard cross section code (e.g. "D") by the desired one (e.g. "C" or "E").
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
To avoid damage to the sealing lip, the seals should not be drawn over sharp edges during installation. In normal case the ONR is mountable on closed grooves from a diameter of 30 mm. The fitting areas are to be deburred and to be cleaned. The piston rods must own lead-in chamfers.
For special cases of application (high temperatures, speed, specific pressure, use in water, HFA-, HFB-fluids etc.) please get in contact with our consultancy service.
