PTFE (polytetraflourethylene) spray is perfect for hygienic dry lubrication. It can also be used as a lubricant and non-stick agent. Colloquially, PTFE is known as Teflon®(trademark of The Chemours Company FC, LLC used under licence by F.W. Klever GmbH). PTFE spray has many positive properties. For example, it is water-repellent, prevents corrosion, is temperature-resistant from -50 to +280ºC and is suitable for short-term and permanent lubrication.
Positive side effects of lubricants: assembly is often easier, forces are minimised, risk of twisting or even possible damage to the seal during assembly is reduced. Lubricants are particularly important in dynamic applications, e.g. pneumatics. We carry different lubricants for different applications!
